🔄 Real-time vs database: what it means in practice

Apollo.io maintains a database of 275M+ contacts — records scraped and updated periodically. The problem: even “verified” Apollo emails bounce at 15–25% in practice. If someone changed jobs last month, Apollo’s database doesn’t know yet. EU contact data is a particular weakness — seniority and role data for European companies is frequently inaccurate.

Enrich-CRM performs live lookups at query time — every enrichment queries current public sources and processes them through a proprietary LLM. Data reflects what’s true today, not what was scraped months ago. On a 10,000-contact CRM base, 2,000–3,000 people change roles every year: that’s 2,000 contacts where a static database will give you the wrong job title.

Apollo is a complement for building new lists from scratch. Enrich-CRM is for keeping existing CRM data accurate and actionable over time.

🔌 HubSpot integration depth

Apollo offers a two-way sync with HubSpot — you can push contacts from Apollo into your CRM. But it’s not a native HubSpot experience: you’re managing two separate tools, and Apollo’s enrichment doesn’t continuously update existing CRM records.

🇪🇺 GDPR: grey area vs native EU compliance

Apollo is a US company with data stored in the US. While it claims GDPR compliance, the underlying processing chain involves US infrastructure — a real concern for European companies and their legal teams. Apollo has no published sub-processor list for EU data residency.

You send identifiers you already own (email, LinkedIn URL, domain, name…). A proprietary LLM runs Google SERP queries on EU servers, visits the relevant public pages in logged-out mode, extracts and standardizes the data entirely in memory, then returns a structured result to your tool — in seconds.

Nothing is stored on Enrich-CRM servers. No OpenAI, no Anthropic — the LLM is built in-house and runs entirely on AWS EU Paris. This is why you can add Enrich-CRM to your privacy policy without adding a US AI sub-processor to your chain.
